An illustrator for over 35 years , Mr. Lebenson specializes in book illustration, both adult and juvenile. Well versed in both B&W and Color, he does everything from gouache to pen and ink, oils to etchings. Among his more notable assignments have been "JANE EYRE " and "THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES " for Reader's Digest and "BROWNIES THEY'RE MOVING" for Henry Z. Walck. Additonal clients include such publishers as Putnam, Dodd Mead, Houghton Mifflin, Coward McCann & Geoghegan, Harper & Row, Holt Rinehart & Winston and Book of the Month Club. He has also done work for magazines such as Psychology Today and Runners World. A graduate of Pratt Institute with both a BFAand an MFA , Mr. Lebenson is also the publisher and owner of RSVP : The Directory of Illustration & Design, one of the premiere illustration source books in the U.S., which just recently celebrated publication of its 25th Anniversary edition.
